Description

The COMEN AX-500A is a perioperative anesthesia workstation in COMEN's AX series, distinguished by a 12-inch high-resolution touchscreen that presents vital information in a clean, organized layout with simplified controls. It provides four control ventilation modes, three SIMV modes, and two pressure support ventilation modes for anesthesia induction, maintenance, recovery, and spontaneous breathing exercises, using ascending bellows pneumatic electronic control technology for a compact circuit and smaller loop cavity, with 7% ventilation accuracy, 65 ml/min low leakage, and autoclavable bellows. Gas delivery features individual flow controls with dual flow tubes for precise minimal/low-flow anesthesia, an optional 3-gas/6-tube flowmeter, and automatic identification of CO2, N2O, and five anesthetic gases via an AGSS-port sample connection. Monitoring includes CO2, N2O, and anesthesia gas waveform display, MAC value display, real-time O2 concentration monitoring, and optional BIS value/EEG waveform display through shareable modular monitoring (BIS/AG/CO2). Additional features include one-hand, in-operation CO2 absorber canister replacement, PEEP support, and an optional closed-type active AGSS scavenging system.
