Description

The Aerogen Solo is a single-patient-use vibrating mesh nebulizer offered by Hamilton Medical in partnership with Aerogen, using vibrating mesh technology to produce consistent droplet-sized particles for aerosol medication delivery, without adding flow to the breathing circuit. Research cited by the manufacturer shows vibrating mesh nebulization delivers 2-4 times greater medication than jet nebulizers. It can be powered by the built-in nebulizer controllers on the HAMILTON-C6 ventilator, by the portable Aerogen Pro-X Controller (with a 45-minute battery and 30-minute or continuous modes), or by the Aerogen USB Controller, which powers from the ventilator's USB port (with 30-minute or 6-hour modes; US users require an AC/DC adapter).
