Description
The COMEN L5 is a surgical light featuring adaptive auto-focus lighting that automatically adjusts to the distance of the wound to keep the beam focused, along with a Smart Intensity function that maintains consistent illuminance even as some LED bulbs are switched off to change spot size. It uses DC dimming technology rather than PWM, which prevents the flicker that can affect surgeon vision and interfere with surgical video recording. The light delivers a high color rendering index (Ra) of up to 98 for accurate tissue color perception. It offers bright, general, and endoscopic lighting modes to suit different procedure types, and can be customized for specialties including cardiac, orthopedic, endoscopic, spinal, and obstetrics/gynecology surgery. Control is available via an on-unit control panel, a sterilizable handle control, wall-mounted control, and dual-lamp synchronous control for multi-head installations.
