The COMEN K1 is an emergency and transport patient monitor designed for use in the ICU, operating room, emergency department and general ward as well as prehospital transport, conforming to the EN1789 out-of-hospital transport standard for low-, mid- and high-acuity patients. It features a 5.5-inch capacitive touchscreen with 1280x720 resolution and monitors essential parameters including 3/5-lead ECG, NIBP, SpO2, IBP, temperature and respiration, with optional advanced modules for Masimo Rainbow SET hemodynamic monitoring, cardiac output, an apnea wake-up module, NMT, SedLine, BIS and gas/EtCO2 analysis. Clinical decision-support tools include Early Warning Score, Glasgow Coma Scale, SepsisGuide, CCHD screening and a 24-hour ECG summary. The device runs up to 10 hours on battery for uninterrupted monitoring, offers Wi-Fi and wired connectivity plus HL7 protocol integration with hospital information systems, and can seamlessly transfer data to COMEN's K12Pro, K15Pro, K18Pro and K22Pro monitors. It is lightweight and compact with IP44 ingress protection against dust and water splashes, suited to rugged transport and multi-department use.
