Description

Humidoflo HF-2900D is a portable, 2.54 kg high-flow nasal oxygen therapy system that delivers heated and humidified air at a servo-controlled flow of 2-60 L/min (adult mode 15-60 L/min, infant mode 2-25 L/min), producing a CPAP-like effect, CO2 washout of anatomical dead space, and improved mucociliary clearance. It maintains chamber temperature of 31-37 degrees C and airway temperature of 32-41 degrees C with integrated pulse-oximetry monitoring and FiO2 control, and supports USB-connected Aerogen Solo vibrating-mesh nebulisation without interrupting flow. Used for pre- and post-extubation support, hypoxaemic/hypercapnic respiratory failure, cardiac failure and sleep apnoea as an alternative to non-invasive ventilation.
