Description
The COMEN CH8500-VR is the research edition of COMEN's CH8500-V Series 5-part veterinary hematology analyzer, intended for research and laboratory-animal testing environments. Like the other V-Series editions it processes up to 60 samples per hour and reports 28 parameters - WBC, five-part differential percentages and absolute counts, NLR, PLR, RBC, HGB, HCT, MCV, MCH, MCHC, RDW-CV/SD, PLT, MPV, PDW-CV/SD, PCT, P-LCC and P-LCR - plus three histograms and multiple scattergrams, from a 17.5 uL whole-blood sample. Detection combines an impedance method for RBC/PLT counting with cyanide-free colorimetry for hemoglobin. The analyzer stores up to 200,000 results, uses reagent kits rated for at least 200 tests with a 100-day validity, and offers an optional built-in thermal printer with USB connectivity to external printers.
