Description
The COMEN ES-Series is a mechanical chest compression (automated CPR) device, intended for use in emergency departments, ambulances, and outdoor/field rescue scenarios. It delivers a compression depth of 30-60 mm (adjustable, +/-2 mm) at a rate of 100-120 compressions per minute (+/-2 cpm), and can run in either a 30:2 compression-to-ventilation mode with a 3-second ventilation pause or a continuous active-compression mode. The device weighs 7.9 kg and is built with a back plate of glass-fiber-reinforced PPA and a support arm of glass-fiber-reinforced PA, with a smooth-edged back plate designed to reduce risk of patient injury during use. It includes a displacement-monitoring system with a structural-deformation compensation algorithm to help maintain consistent compression depth, pressure-pad release technology intended to enhance perfusion between compressions, and visual locking clips that confirm secure fixation to the patient. It carries an IP43 ingress-protection rating, supports DC vehicle power, ships with a transport bag, and is EN1789-certified for ambulance transport use.
