Description

The COMEN AX-900 (also referenced as AX-900A) is a high-performance operating-room anesthesia workstation designed to deliver safe, precise anesthesia during surgical induction, maintenance, and recovery phases, including support for spontaneous breathing exercises. It uses a classic ascending-bellows pneumatic drive with electronic control technology and a compact circuit with a smaller loop cavity for accurate ventilation, achieving 7% ventilation accuracy and 65 ml/min low leakage, with autoclavable bellows components. Ventilation options include four control ventilation modes, three SIMV modes, and two pressure support ventilation (PSV) modes, plus PEEP support for lung protection and recruitment maneuvers. Fresh gas delivery features electronic closed-loop oxygen concentration control with automatic O2/balance-gas ratio adjustment, real-time flow correction, a color-spectrum Best Flow Indicator tool, and an electronic gas-source pressure gauge in place of traditional mechanical gauges. The unit includes an 8-inch LED touchscreen with an independent gas-control panel, continuous respiratory monitoring, and color-coded alarms, supporting low-flow anesthesia for improved delivery efficiency.
