Description

The COMEN A5 is offered alongside the A7 as part of COMEN's perioperative anesthesia machine line, sharing the series' core platform. It offers various ventilation modes to meet different clinical needs during the perioperative period, a highly integrated breathing circuit design that reduces breathing-circuit air resistance, and fresh-gas compensation technology for precise ventilation support in both adult and pediatric patients. It includes an 8.4-inch touchscreen displaying up to five waveforms simultaneously, a dual-channel mechanical flowmeter with a 0-15 L/min range, storage for 2,000 setting logs with 60 hours of data review, and a backup battery rated for up to 6 hours. A three-slot modular design supports AG+O2, AG, BIS, CO2, NMT, and other high-end parameter monitoring, alongside a flush O2 function, an auxiliary common gas outlet (ACGO) for disposable circuits, an AGSS waste-gas exhaust system, a mounted rail for external monitor/bracket compatibility, a smart pulmonary loop for ventilation monitoring, three-drawer storage, and AIMS system interconnection.
