The COMEN CF5 is a fetal and maternal monitor intended for obstetric care settings such as hospital maternity units and clinics, providing continuous, high-quality monitoring for both mother and fetus, including during transfer from prenatal rooms to delivery rooms. It tracks fetal heart rate (FHR) via 12-crystal transducer technology along with fetal movement and uterine activity (TOCO), while simultaneously monitoring maternal ECG, SpO2, NIBP, respiration, and temperature. The CF5 provides comprehensive cardiotocography (CTG) scoring aligned with seven global standards, including NRIES, Fischer, and Oxford criteria, to support clinical decision-making during labor. It offers HL7 network connectivity for hospital IT integration along with built-in printer and scanner support, and a hidden-handle design for portability around the ward. An optional wireless transducer configuration (available as the CF5R variant) with an IP68 waterproof rating enhances patient comfort and allows monitoring during underwater labor.
