Electrostatic HMEF (Patient-Side Heat and Moisture Exchange Filter)

Description

Hamilton Medical's electrostatic HMEF (Heat and Moisture Exchanger with Filter) combines hygroscopic heat and moisture exchange with electrostatic filtration for adult and pediatric patients on the patient side of the breathing circuit. A hydrophobic pleated HMEF alternative is also available, using a highly efficient pleated hydrophobic membrane filter combined with heat/moisture exchange, along with a US-only Aero-Sat filter (small straight) that combines electrostatic filtration with humidification, also for adult and pediatric patients.
